Join us as we celebrate Earth Day! Come on out to the grounds of the National Library on Saturday, April 26th from 9:30am- 3:30pm for an Eco Fun Fest!

Organized by the Queer Eco Corps members of The Greenheart Movement, this event is packed with entertaining and educational activities. Whether you're into food, farming, film, fashion, crafting, or just learning- there's something here for everyone!

Sample veggie pepperpot and other vegan food! Collect seedlings for your garden and learn all about the magic of composting. Test your eco knowledge and win cool prizes. Get your face painted, tell/hear eco-themed stories, and create treasure from ‘trash’. Watch short films and videos about a variety of environmental topics. Bring your clean, unwanted, gently-used clothes to swap with others, and pick up some new items for your wardrobe! Strut the catwalk in your new-to-you outfits while deconstructing traditional gender binaries. Learn Indigenous crafting techniques.

All FREE!
